Not thrilled with location as hotel is right on Highway 40 and not close to downtown or skiing. We arrived early and could have checked in but were told to wait for a better room after 4 pm. We Steamboat Springs Marriott 40 had a room in the front of the hotel overlooking the entrance and Highway.
You could hear the Highway 40 traffic all night. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast is average fair dry cereal, yogurt, Springs 40 Marriott Steamboat Steamboat Springs Marriott 40 toast etc. When in Steamboat again I will stay closer to the ski area in a more picturesque Steamboat Springs Marriott 40 quiet location. This property is on the same side of 40 Marriott Steamboat Springs the street as the mountain and provided a better Mountain View Otherwise, both properties are about the same distance from skiing and prices are about the same.
We would definitely choose this property again if we were to make a decision all over again. Very pleased! Fairfield inn is a good place to stay if you have a family and aren't looking for amenities. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is good, and parking is plentiful. Downtown steamboat is a short drive away and traffic does get busy at certain days of the year. If you'Steamboat Springs Marriott 40 re expecting a resort, this is not the place for you. I am sorry to hear that we didn't quite have all the amenities you were looking for but am glad that our amazing staff was able to deliver a great stay for you and your family!
We've stayed here twice Marriott Steamboat 40 Springs now and it has been great both times. The location is just outside of the main shopping area but close to Steamboat Skiing. But it was still good and the staff in the morning works hard to keep everything full. Plenty of seating. We would stay here again. We love Steamboat Springs! From the moment I checked I the staff bent over backwards to accommodate all my needs. My problem is that majority of the grounds constantly smells like marijuana. I don't care if it's legal or not I don't want to have to walk through a cloud of smoke, walking into the hotel, up the stairs, down the hall. If the whole hotel smelled like cigarette smoke or booze I would have the same problem.
